Society of Illustrators 54

Hello All, I am just writing to tell of and show some pictures of the Society of Illustrators 54 Uncommissioned, Sequential, and Moving Image show.  The opening night party was wonderful, tons of treats to snack on and plenty of wine.  The room was buzzing with new artists who are breaking onto the scene, and seasoned professionals sharing in the revelry.  All the awards went to deserving artists, and it seemed as though all the winners were sincere in their gratitude.  So here are the pictures of the show and some of my favorites: The Show from the entrance. Chris Buzelli's Krampus Greg Manchess showing why he's a master: he doesn't even need to hint at an elbow, smudged paint is fine.  John Hendrix This was my spot on the lower level. Probably my favorite of the show, Byron Eggenschwiler's creepy series.  They remind me of a modern twist on Edward Gorey.

Uncommissioned, Sequential and Moving Image Show at the Society of Illustrators

Hello Everyone, I haven't been able to show you all any of my most recent pieces because they all have non-disclosure agreements, those will come in time.  I am here to tell you that my "December Maple" piece is now on display at the Society of Illustrators in the Uncommissioned category.  I will be up until January 21st.  If you are in the Manhattan area between now and then, please stop by, it's a truly wonderful gallery and I guarantee that you will see great art.  Have a wonderful day. Owen
