Hello All,
I am just writing to tell of and show some pictures of the Society of Illustrators 54 Uncommissioned, Sequential, and Moving Image show. The opening night party was wonderful, tons of treats to snack on and plenty of wine. The room was buzzing with new artists who are breaking onto the scene, and seasoned professionals sharing in the revelry. All the awards went to deserving artists, and it seemed as though all the winners were sincere in their gratitude. So here are the pictures of the show and some of my favorites:

The Show from the entrance. |
Chris Buzelli's Krampus |
Greg Manchess showing why he's a master: he doesn't even need to hint at an elbow, smudged paint is fine. |
John Hendrix |
This was my spot on the lower level. |
Probably my favorite of the show, Byron Eggenschwiler's creepy series. They remind me of a modern twist on Edward Gorey. |
